The aims of ‘The Somerset Music Hub’ are:
- To create a single mandated body to represent the collective interests of the music sector in Somerset and build links to other music development bodies regionally and nationally.
- To provide a point of reference, support and advice on all aspects of the music industry to individuals and organisations in Somerset.
- To encourage the professional and economic development of the music industry in Somerset.
- To raise the profile of music in Somerset, in and outside the county.
- To co-ordinate events and networking opportunities for those involved in the Music Industry in Somerset.
- In relation to the music industry, to identify areas of need within Somerset and to encourage investment to address them.
So, whether you’re in a band, a DJ, a promoter, a venue owner, or you run a record label or a studio…or something completely different, as long as you’re in Somerset and it’s about music, get involved and meet like-minded people in our community!
